I am a full stack web and mobile developer specialising in React Native.

I am currently working as Senior Software Developer at Estendio, where I have a key role in the creation and maintenance of our React Native mobile application, Present Pal, as well as our accompanying software for Chrome and Powerpoint (React), and our administrative portal (PHP with Laravel).

Accessibility lies at the heart of all the products we develop, and this has allowed me to explore the topic in great detail, alongside other key areas of mobile development such as state management, project architecture, gesture handling, animations, analytics, notifications and data protection.

Prior to this I was a software engineer at Sales Agility where I worked on client projects based on the popular open-source SuiteCRM using PHP, HTML, CSS and JavaScript with MySQL. I also gained valuable experience of various integrations with third-party software and REST API's.

When I get the opportunity I enjoy building small side projects to explore different aspects of development. Most recently focusing on some of the key areas of React Native development in my blog.

I live just outside Glasgow, Scotland with my husband, daughter and dog. We are lucky to live in a very beautiful part of the world, and when we get some free time (and some nice weather!) we love to get out and about exploring the lochs near where we live.
