1. Who this policy covers
This privacy policy applies to the Make Your Own Label Maker mobile application, operated by LWilsonDev ("we", "us" or "our"). It does not cover third-party websites or services that you choose to open from the app.
2. Information the app handles
Photos and camera images
If you choose to add an image, the app asks for camera or photo-library access. It only accesses a photo when you take or select one. The chosen image is copied into the app's private storage on your device so it can be used in your label.
Label projects
Text, images, stickers, layout choices, project names and project dates are saved locally in the app's private storage. We do not receive these projects and the app does not upload them to a server operated by us.
Printing
When you choose to print, the app creates a printable image and passes it to your device's print service. Any printer or print service you select may process that content under its own privacy terms. We do not receive a copy.
Web image search
The optional web-search feature opens a Google Images search in your browser. Your search terms and normal browser or device information are sent directly to Google, not to us. Google's handling of that information is governed by its own privacy policy. You decide whether to download an image and add it from your photo library.
Technical and usage data
The current version of the app does not use analytics, advertising or crash-reporting services and does not collect advertising identifiers, precise location, contacts or account credentials. Apple, Google, your device provider and the app store may process download, diagnostic or transaction information independently under their own terms.
3. Device permissions
You can refuse or withdraw these permissions in your device settings. The app will still work, but features that need the relevant permission will be unavailable.
4. How information is used
The app uses information you provide only to:
- create, edit, save and preview your label projects;
- prepare the labels you choose to print; and
- open a web image search when you request one.
We do not use your content for advertising, profiling or training AI models.
5. Sharing and disclosure
We do not sell, rent or share your label projects or personal information with third parties because we do not receive them. Information leaves the app only when you direct it to—for example, by opening Google Images, using your device's print service or interacting with an app store. Those third parties act under their own terms.
We may disclose information if required by law, but we can only disclose information that we actually hold.
6. Storage, retention and deletion
Label projects and imported images remain on your device until you delete the project or uninstall the app. Your operating system may include app data in a device backup; backup retention is controlled by your device or backup provider. Because the app has no user accounts and we do not hold your projects on our servers, there is no separate online account or cloud record for us to delete.
7. Security
Keeping projects in the app's private on-device storage limits their exposure. You should keep your device software up to date and use a screen lock. No storage method is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children
The app is intended to be used by adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. A child should use the app only with a parent or guardian's supervision. If you believe a child has sent information to us, please contact us.
9. Your choices and rights
You can choose which photos to add, remove saved projects, revoke camera or photo permissions, and uninstall the app to remove its local data. Depending on where you live, you may also have legal rights concerning personal information. As we do not collect your app content or operate user accounts, we will normally have no app data linked to you, but you can contact us with any privacy question.
10. International data transfers
We do not transfer your label projects to our servers in any country. Third-party services you choose to use may process information internationally under their own privacy policies.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the app or legal requirements change. We will post the revised policy on this page and change the date above. Material changes will be communicated in the app where appropriate.
